A dream make real - UK, here i come again

I have never expect to visit UK again, after 10 years since i graduated in 1998. It is such a fruitful trip and quoted from Auntie Lai's words of wisdom - it is indeed walking down the memory lane with the man i love - KW. Yes, both of us graduated from UK and we have so much fondly memories of this place. We thank and praise the LORD for HIS ever faithful grace and providence thru' out the trip. And thanks to my wonderful and best friend in UK - John and Lisa whom helped us so much in planning our trip. These are some of the highlights of the food that made up the wonderful memories of this recent trip

1. John unselfishly share his mum home made buns for us for breakfast during our home stay with them. And not forgetting the wonderful carrot cakes made by Lisa. The taste of friendship and love are part of the ingredients too
2. We tried the first ever Fish & Chips at University of Surrey. Really value for money for the students there. No wonder KW told me i will want to come back for more :)

3. I have never share this deep secret with any of my university mates. It has always been a dream to have a meal at my favourite supermart - sainsbury in lancaster. As a student, i just want to shimp and save for every penny. Finally, a dream come true for me.

4. My host family - that is what i called home. I missed my host parents - Leonard and Jean Clarke so much. And i will always remember the warmth they have given me at christmas 10 years ago. Jean is really a warmth and nice mother

5. Lisa's sister - waiman & brother in law - Davis whipped up a sumptuous chinese meal for us. This is our first & precious chinese meal in UK. That night, i saw KW had a second helping. He must have missed chinese food so much. Suddenly, i miss Auntie Lai fried rice at Cambridge.

6. Must try -
a. Harry Ramsden - World Famous Fish & Chip. I vaguely remembered that there was one of such branch at kallang in Singapore. Not sure if it is still there. It has a fun factor instil in the whole palate exercise. That is to finish the Fish Challenge & win yourself a certificate. U need to eat like a whale, no joke

b. Krispy Kemper Donut. As recommended by Lisa & her sister. I hope i spell it correctly. Yes, it does not taste too sweet and u will be spoilt for choice if you look at the variety

Indeed, GOD is good. As i recount the blessings i have rec'd from my friends from this trip. I know that i have made the wise decision to come back to UK this time. To my friends whom happen to browse thru my blog, i would like to take this opportunity to express our many heartfelt thanks to you all whom make our trip such a wonderful and memorable one - with no particular order - Auntie Lai, John & Lisa, Davis & Waiman, Leonard & Jean. Last but not least, to Rob, Onn & Meishan. Hopefully, we come back again for our next memory lane
