Moon Cake Workshop

When I went for the rice dumpling workshop, I already know that I will attend moon cake workshop with my best friend to be complete. Call it déjà vu. I am not a great fan for mooncakes but i like mooncake festival. It brought back fondly childhood memories where i used to bring my fanciful laterns and play with candles with my neighbours. I still look forward to mooncake festival each year. Some traditional never dies.

This year, i m inviting my fellowship friends for a BBQ at my place. M sure that we are gonna to have a good time and certainly, i am going to put what i have learn into good use. Stay tuned for more updates on my first attempt of moon cakes making.

I must say that it is the best workshop that i have ever attend - Gourmet Haven. Not only they have very clear commentaries during the demostration. They only provide tips which not many workshop will do, and also, they pass round the ingredients for the students to see. And best of all, they allow u to have hands-on at the end of the lesson when there is less crowd. Overall, i give a big thumbs-up and would recommend this place as another avenue to learn baking / cooking
