With a thanksgiving heart this christmas

What is Christmas to me......

1. A time to remember and give thanks to our Heavenly Father who give his one and only son to die for our sins on the cross. The best christmas gift that HE can give to me

2. A time to give and share love with our dearest friends. I hope my friends who are reading this blog dun find it offensive. I always find this the most challenging part of christmas. No doubt it is the heart that matters, but having to pick the right gift for my friends is like hiting the jackpot. Beyond that spirit of giving, it is always a joy to know that i have picked the right gift for my closest friends.

3. A time to get together in the name of Christ as a family. Just like to take this opportunity to wish my family a peaceful and joyous christmas. And may GOD transform our family and united each one of us in HIS glorious name.

4. A time to reflect the goodness of receiving. I want to thank each and every of my friends for their christmas gift and love. It is such a blessing to rec'd christmas gift. Esp manifested thru' the gift that they have picked for me. See my pictures herewith

5. A time to remember my overseas friends - Lisa, Phyllis, Esther. If you happen to be reading my blog. Sending my love from Singapore :) Not forgotten Tracy, Eric and Kevin who is celebrating Christmas in Penang n Taiwan :)

Finally, A time to relax and enjoy the christmas mood. Afterall, it is a season for LOVE, GIVE and JOLLY. So, merry christmas to all !!!

Doggy Christmas Party

It's raining cats and dogs today, but this does not dampen our spirit as we, the doggy friends are meeting at pawtobellow for our first christmas party. But too bad, another dog friend - Dong Lun is unable to join us. Anyway, we have a good time together and celebrating the spirit of christmas together with our dogs as well.

The Star of Christmas

We had our annual christmas celebration as a fellowship group. But this year, we opted for a simple fare. We decided to have a celebration of our own at Miss Clarity. It is always a challenge to get everyone together during this festive season as most of them will be clearing their leave. Cass and Michele actually recommended this lovely place at upper thomson road. It is indeed a great place to checkout for a value for money luncheon. Just wondering why this place is called Miss Clarity. But i could tell that the owner must be quite girlish in nature, the eye catching pinkish decor is very much made for a princess luncheon

Anyway, besides the fellowship and the good food. It is also a good reminder for all of us to focus on the goodness and greatness of our Heavenly Father. And because of his greatest gift for us at christmas - the born of Christ on this day, that we can be saved. Therefore, my simple wish for this christmas is for more people to be touched by HIM and to be able to enjoy peace, joy and happiness all year round.

Have a blessed christmas to all my friends and family :)

Dennis and Audra Thank You Dinner

The host has chosen MOF to throw their thank you dinner for us for helping out with their recent wedding on 08 Dec. It is pure coincident that they have picked MOF. Seems like MOF is a favourite choice for japanese food. Anyway, it was my favourite food so i certainly dun mind :) And it is good that i can chose another dessert to try out this time

Want to thank Audra and Dennis for picking me as one of their wedding planner for their wedding. And i am so glad that the wedding turn out well as planned and most importantly, the couple have fondly memories for the event which certainly make all the effort worth the while :)

The tai tai christmas gatherings

I always treasure the bonding that i have with my lunch mates since many years and apparently, they have now all left the company, except for me and justina. But something never change - the friendship and bonding that we build over years. I always love and look forward to the very cosy and warmth tai tai get together and it has become a routine to catch up with one another over at Christmas. It is always a joy to laugh and remised about the good old days.

This year we had our cosy get together @ MOF (ministry of food - my izakaya), i have suggested this place because i have read a lot of the review about this and most importantly, it is my favourite jap food. The food is great but i think the service could be better. But i like the range of japanese dessert available and i am really spoilt for choice.

Most importantly, it is still the company that counts. And of course, it is the season of the year that makes one jolly.
