Farewell 2006, Welcome 2007

Counting down with just less than 1 hours more to go, m looking forward to a great year of 2007. With thanksgiving and praise for our Dearest Father, i would like to wrap up my blog with this last entry in 2006


The top 10 food that mel has craving for. Whenever i feel stress or have special craving for food, i know i would not give this a miss. In no order of preference :

1. Yoshinoya Beef Bowl
I didn't like this japanese fast food joint alto it is my favorite food of all. Until, Khim recommended me to try the beef bowl. Yes, the beef is always so juicy and tender. And best part is, both economical and oishi.

2. Spizza
I was first introduced to this pizza joint by my cell leaders - Eric and stephanie many years ago. Since then, i always love their pizzas. The pizza is handmade and always serve hot from the oven. Yummy

3. 曾记 XO fish soup
This is always tracy's all time favourite. And it's mine too, esp when i m sicked and have special craving for hot soup. This is always my number 1 choice

4. Gelare Waffle
I got to know about this yummy low fat ice cream waffle from my lunch mate - Jenn. She is a food gourment and always know where to look for good food. Yes, Gelare Waffle is the best i have ever tried so far, esp when you share this with someone you love. The feeling is shiok :)

5. Kettle Chips
We have a food barn outlet in office. I don usually like to snack during my meals, but kettle chips r the only exception. It really goes well with the sandwhiches from food barn

6. Guavaberry Freeze
Also from food barn. My best friend - Justina, introduce me to this fruity freeze that i always love it to bits. Alto, the price is steep, sometimes, when i feel like giving myself a treat, guavaberry is a must (see picture)

7. Mos Burger
I like almost everything from Mos Burger. From Ebi Rice Burger, to Teriyaki Beef, to Chicken Wings, to Hot dogs, to Peach Tea, and my all time favourite clam chowder. It has almost every of my favourite food under one roof

8. Carl's Burger
One of my soccer's buddy - Ah Leong introduced me to this fast food joint. Since then, i was hooked on it. The beef pattie is bigger than my mouth. I would definitely give not just one but two thumbs up !!!

9. Margarita
One of my ex colleague - Shirley Yeo introduced me to this mexico restaurant in still road. The ribs is really really nice. Soft and tender. Sometimes, i will even dream about it. Try it and you will know what i mean !!!! :)

10. Chee Chong Fun at bukit batok west ave 5
Not only it is nice, it is also value for money. I will always have this for my breakfast and sometimes for dinner as well

Happy Birthday to my Wonderful Mum

Usually, year end is always full of events and activities - Christmas Dinner, Wedding Dinners, Year End Dinner and of course, my mum birthday.

Today, we celebrated our beloved mum 70th Birthday :)
We had pool n bowling game at CSC followed by a dinner at Sakae Sushi. Great opportunity for our family to get together in such a warm manner during the end of the year.

I want to take this opportunity to thank my mum for her love and care for me. And i wanted to wish her 身体健康, 青春永驻

Christmas Mood Part three - Christmas Food Galore

Today is Christmas Day. Didn't feel like going out and so happen that we had some of the Ham that we didn't managed to finish last nite - so i had decided to make some christmas sandwhiches with the ham and bun from Cedele.

Thanks Goodness that we did stock up some of the can food in the store room. Come into handy for a quick christmas food galore. Simple is a form of pleasure too, i have learned :)

Merry Christmas !!! Christmas Mood Part Two

It is the time of the year that the whole family is looking forward to. Besides the usual fanciful fanfare we used to had in the past, it is also a time of reunion for us, for the whole family to have dinner together. It is such a privledge to be the children of God to gather in celebration of HIS name. It is indeed a blessings from GOD every year.

This year we decided to order Cedele Christmas Feast. The food is tasty and we all love the ham. It goes well with the special cranberry sauce. The food portion is just nice as well, not too much overdosage of christmas feast at the same time, we have a fair bit of the must have christmas food - Ham and Log Cake. Excellant

Every year, i would have concorted the special cocktail that i have learned from my sis in law several years ago. I call it Christmas passion. It has a very fruity and refreshing taste, very near to the taste of Ribena. The kids really love it to bits and it certainly brings out the christmas mood as well

And not forgetting my wonderful colleagues for giving me such a wonderful pressie - a box of Royce chocolates that i would gladly share with my family as a dessert. I know i wont have to buy Godiva chocolates any more :)

Tis a season of Giving and Receiving

I rec'd a pleasant surprise - a yummy Muffin as a Christmas gift from this dear friend of mine - Trina.

Besides the sweetness of the Chocolate Muffin, i taste the sweetness of the friendship from her. The kind of warmth that one would think of during this Christmas.

Yes - this is the spirit of Christmas. A season of giving and receiving. Thanks so much for this friendship, my dearest friend.

A thanksgiving feast in celebration of our Heavenly Father

With many blessings from Heavenly Father, finally, we had our annual christmas bash for our office fellowship group. It was an annual and yet important affair to get together as well as for outreach purpose. The only difference for this year is that we decided to do it indoors during luncheon. We have lotsa fun and learning and we made new friends too. Most importantly, it is a season for us to remind what Christmas is all about - It's about the Love that our Heavenly Father has given us and to share this love with people around us.

For this christmas bash, i have prepared sandwhiches. And i got this comments from my friends that my ingredients are thicker than my bread. haha

Anyway, I would like to take this opportunity to dedicate this blog to two great and new friends of mine - Shi Mei & Lilin. They are two new found friends that i got to know in the midst of my busy schedule. As I might not have time to catch up with them. But i always remember about them and this christmas, would like to wish them many blessings in life. Merry and joyous christmas to you both :)

K 歌 - Christmas mood part one

I went to party world during lunch with my friends in office. This is the second singsation for me this month. Such a luxurious lunch treat. Thanks to Sebas, aka my "Boss" for picking up the tab and so coincidental, i got a gift from him as well during gift exchange. A beautiful watch that match my outfit today. So nice. I m sure it is very expensive too. And he pick my gift too...what else, must support 李圣杰. I got him the lastest sam cd :)
I brought a log cake along. This is a MUST have @ christmas. Hurray, christmas is coming. Thanks God for this season of love and peace.
