Farewell to Nic San

This blog is for a fellow colleague at work place - Nic san, who i viewed him as a food connoisseur. Alto he is leaving my company, m definitely going to miss him and his sharing with me of the great cooking tips. If nic san is looking at my blog, i want to thank him for this friendship and also all the great tips u have shared with me. Thanks for the delicious lychee cake from you and i believe next time i go beijing and eat the lychees, i will remember you.

Mel_@_Wok Episode 14 Chocolate Love Biscuits Part Three

Koh Wee told me how much he loves my chocolate biscuits and finish them all last week that i couldn't succumb to his request to want to make somemore for him. He reminds me of cookies monster. :)
Anyway, he has also given me many feedback on how to improve and so here m i again, to try out more chocolate biscuits. I can only say, the chocolate biscuits can only get better and better. And i will get more and more confidence to making it right. Even though it is just chocolate biscuits. :)

Tips from Episode 14:
1. I melt the butter and sugar before hand in microwave oven. Seems that the texture is better by doing this way
2. I use a biscuit mould this time. Just need to make sure that is evenly spread and flatten
3. I add the nuts and chocolates only before i put into the oven for baking
4. Have to control the timing to make sure that it is not too hard

Mel_@_Wok Episode 13 Chocolate Love Biscuits Part Two

I always believe that when this is a will and determination, no matter what we do, m sure it is going to make it. It is just a matter of time. Seeing is believing. YES !!! cass, i finally make it. My love biscuit aka chocolate biscuits. Thanks so much for the tips, I am so proud of myself that i didn't give up. Anyway, besides baking the love biscuits for the man i love. I have also wanted to bake some biscuits for a special brother of mine - Eric aka Tracy's hubby to be. YEAH !!!! I heard from my dear sista tracy that Eric will be coming to Sgp and also, his birthday is near the corner, so i have decided to 借花献佛 and share this love biscuits with a great brother like him for his birthday. Just a token from me and my darling with lotsa love from singapore :) Just in case, Brother Eric is reading this blog - just wanted to wish you an early birthday wish. May God continue to use you in any way to bless the people around you. U are really truly a great man and i m so happy that Tracy has found a man she loves. I m going to entrust this dear sista to you and hope that you both will continue this love with the knowledge of HIM within you both. :)

Mel_@_Wok Episode 12 Chocolate Love Biscuits

Today, I have planned to bake some chocolate biscuits for the man i love. I know he love chocolates to bits and i wanted to give him a surprise. I cannot remember when was the last time i have bake biscuits, it must be the home economics class many years ago. I m not really good in baking but i am determined to make some biscuits because the process of baking is simply enjoyable as i would think of how he will be touched when he savour the love biscuits. It is really worth the effort. Alto, the biscuits didn't turn out to be as good as i wanted it to be, a lot of love has been added into the ingredients which i hope he can feel it too. I am still quite proud of my first attempt of the biscuits and we always believe that love will conquer all problems. It has been proved to be very true indeed :)

Finally, i can use the precious moment container that my best friend, justina has brought me on this year val's day :)

Tips from Episode 12:
1. Slowly stir in the floor
2. I tink i put too much sugar
3. remember to put the biscuit apart from one another
4. Let the butter cool down in room temperate
